I just want to really let everyone know how grateful I am for your support these last couple of months. There were days I didn't want to get out of bed and your words kept me strong. I am lucky to have such an amazing husband and friends.
Tristan made it home Wednesday September 30th and things are going good. I don't think I was normal from Aug 3rd until he stepped off the plane. It is a horrible feeling to have your child kept from you especially the way Dani did it but it is over. There were lies told to Tristan about who raised him but I have the truth on my side. I thank god every day when I see all my children under one roof together. I know he is safe and I will continue to do whatever it takes to keep him that way.
He started school Monday and is doing good. He has two male teachers, one for art and the other is in math. He is happy about that. We have fallen back into routine, he is skateboarding and having friends over. We have been coming up with ideas to do a haunted house and he is excited to scare people and pass out candy.
We went to church sat and he has friends in the youth group. It is an excellent program at our church.
He just got his hair cut and he needs a bit more off the front so he isn't letting me take pictures yet but I will add some this weekend. :)

Girl's day

I took Baylor, Chandler and Sophie to Busch Gardens a couple of weeks ago. Roland had been out of town and ended up meeting us there later in the afternoon. Chandler rode all the roller coasters except two, she wasn't tall enough. At the beginning of summer she wouldn't even attempt it. She would get off and get right back on. We had so much fun.

Pumpkin patch
SCORE!!
Chandler's soccer team won Monday night. Tristan was there watching her play and it was so cute watching her out there trying to impress him. That is the best she has played all season long.
They are in the play offs now so only a few more games of fall soccer left. She loved it and will continue to play.

Labor Day at Lake Anna
We stayed at a house on Lake anna for Labor Day weekend with the Dunlap's ( Chandler's best friend and parents). It is beautiful there. It is about 25 minutes away but it felt like we were a million miles away and we really needed that with everything going on. We woke up and had coffee on the back deck and just stared out onto the lake. Chandler went fishing every morning around 7. Chandler and sophie rode on wave runners for the first time. I hadn't been on one since high school. Chandler also went tubing behind the boat. Roland and I enjoyed it so much we talked about maybe one day living on a lake.

Sophie's friend for the weekend. Titan is his name but she calls him Buddy.

The view from the house, it was amazing

Third grade

Sorry, for some reason I couldn't rotate this picture. Chandler loves her third grade teachers. She has Mrs. Stone in the morning and in the afternoon she goes to Mrs. Hoovler's class. They are both great teachers and we like them a lot.
She has made new friends already and even though her best friend Baylor is not in her class she is across the hall so they still see each other plenty throughout the day.:-)
Fall soccer 2009
Chandler started soccer this year and loves it. We couldn't be prouder of her. This is her first year playing and is picking it up quick. The name of her team is Crew. These were taken at her first practice and she is wearing a white shirt. They have had one game so far and they tied with the best team in their division.

Luray Caverns
Outside the garden maze...this was really fun!!

Heading in to the Caverns

All of us in the cavern

Charity, Jason and the girls came to visit the first week of august and we had so much fun showing them around VA. The first day they were here we went up in the mountains to visit Luray Caverns. It was amazing and we had so much fun... minus the car sickness Charity and I experienced driving through the mountains in the back seat of a SUV. All worth it though.

The Kangaroo Express

Chandler had so much fun at Vacation Bible school this year. The theme was neat, they were pretending to be in Australia and the teachers dressed up every day and spoke with an Australian accent.
They sang songs, made art projects, and played games outside. It was definately one of the funner groups she has attended over the years.

Quick update
Roland testing out his new golf clubs

Sophie playing in her new bikini

I decided I should get to writing, it has been awhile. I am getting so excited for next week!! Charity, Jason and the girls get here Thursday. Chandler will be home Saturday and Tristan flies in Tues night, just in time for my birthday Wednesday. I am so happy we will all be together to celebrate. I have missed them so much!!
I have enjoyed being able to give Sophie some one on one time during the day. She is starting to talk so much, she repeats everything we say. She is really at a fun stage now.
This summer has flown by and the kids return to school on the 24th. I have already started their school shopping. Chandler starts soccer this fall also, she is so excited. Sunday she starts vacation bible school.
We are still waiting for news about Roland's orders and praying that we won't be separated for 2 years. We are really hoping to stay in VA. Everyone keep your fingers crossed for us.

I just love this smile box website!!
We left Friday for Williamsburg. It was raining the whole drive and we were a bit worried this was going to ruin our weekend, but it finally stopped around 5. We checked in and headed to the outlets to look around. We went to Hooters for dinner to eat wings... we found out Sophie doesn't like the hot ones. We decided to go to Busch Gardens for the last couple of hours and Sophie enjoyed the rides.
We woke up and headed back to Busch Gardens and then to Water Country to cool off!!

Fourth of July weekend
We started off the long weekend with a birthday party for a friend's son. I took the girls and our friends son Talon. Roland enjoyed some alone time... washed the car, cut the grass then drank beer with our neighbor Bruce. He was happy!!
Saturday Teresa, Chandler and I did some shopping. We had a barbecue over at Bruce and Teresa's then we headed on base to watch fireworks. We had a great spot, we were able to go on the roof top of the parking garage at the FBI.
We woke up early today and took Chandler to see Jamie for a couple of weeks. She was so excited. I am going to be lost over the next couple of weeks with Tristan and Chandler gone. Hopefully the time goes FAST!!

My sweet baby turned 2
I can't believe our sweet girl is 2!! I really just want to freeze time, it goes so fast. I miss holding her till she falls asleep. She is a million miles a minute now. She is putting words together, she repeats everything and she loves the water and playing outside.
She had fun celebrating her birthday. We went to the pool and she wore her new skimpi bikini- thanks to nanny:-)
We had cake and ice cream and she opened presents that night. Our neighbors Bruce, Teresa and their two girls came over and Ally, Eric and Talon and Clinton, Elleine and the kids came. Sophie had so much fun!!!
Thank you everyone that sent cards and presents... she is one lucky little girl to have you all in her life.
